DX Reunites?????

Can someone explain how DX got back together in WWE world? Didn't I see Triple H attack Shawn Michaels with a sledgehammer a while back? I haven't been watching wrestling but I saw the commercial for the ppv, and now I want to know what's been going on. Please, oh please, let Shawn Michaels leave his sparkly leather space cadet outfit behind and just wear jeans and a t-shirt. He looks much better that way.
