Fred Couples almost won the Memorial Tournament today. Bart Bryant did win. Congratulations to Bryant, better luck next time Fred. The US Open is coming up in a week or two I think. Hopefully Fred will be playing and have a really good showing there.

One final thought on the Memorial Tournament - Jack Nicklaus really knows how to design a golf course. There was no runaway leader, no predominant characteristic of the course like fast greens or tough rough, everything was pretty much even out there which meant that golfers had to be tops in all areas of the sport to contend. This is how golf should be.
