Know Your Advertisers
I'm watching the US Open golf tournament and Dan Hicks was mentioning some of the advertisers paying for NBC's coverage of the event. One of the companies is Quizno's subs. Hicks, seemingly unaware of this company, pronounced it "Keyzno's". Not "Kwizno's". Ordinarily, it wouldn't matter too much for someone to mispronouce something. But when your job is speaking, you would think you'd get it right.
