This is so true!!

I know the home alone thing is bad, but 10 KIDS!!!! Someone needs to tell her what causes that, because she obviously hasn't figured it out yet. And, by the way, 14 is old enough to babysit in most situations and the kids had grandparents to call for help if they needed it. Gee whiz, in a lot of countries, 14 year olds are married.

Hmm... I suppose this is a bad thing, if you're catholic and you believe this, but I liked the picture of the wolf in sheep's clothing. It was cute.

Some quotes:

"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect."
-Mark Twain

"Perfect love is rare indeed - for to be a lover will require that you continually have the subtlety of the very wise, the flexibility of the child, the sensitivity of the artist, the understanding of the philosopher, the acceptance of the saint, the tolerance of the scholar and the fortitude of the certain."
-Leo Buscaglia

"The grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for."
-Allan K. Chalmers

"Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go."
-Oscar Wilde

So, Alias last night was great! Evil Lindsay is dead - D-E-D, dead! Yay!!! Sloane had the sniper kill Lindsay instead of Sydney. Will was in this episode and it was great seeing Syd and Will together again. He needs to come back full time! Jack and Vaughn were in custody only a little while, but it was good to see Jack punch Lindsay. And Sark had a really good scene where he confronted his father about his rough childhood. Oh, Evil Francie (AKA Allison) was stabbed in the heart by Will. They think she's dead, but very few main characters die on this show. I bet she'll be back. And best of all, no cliffhanger.

Work was frustrating. The helpless desk screwed up some programming and didn't even have the guts to admit it. They were like, "oh, there's no problem." Well, if I could do something last week, and now I can't, I'd say there's a problem. But that's ok. If I can't do it, then someone else will have to. Let's see just how long that will last. We are having our unit Christmas party on Dec. 17th and the office Christmas party on the 18th. We know that on the 17th, we will be having the Pizza Hut Buffet. And Marlene wants me to make some no-bake cookies. But we don't know what we are going to do for the 18th. It appears to be some kind of secret because no one will tell our OA anything about it. I guess that means the party is free for our unit.

I am only a couple of pages short of finishing a murder mystery book. It's very annoying to get that close to finding out who the murderer is and have to put the book down, but I had to today. I will finish it tonight though.
